Clancy Consulting Crowned Champions
Business Fours Autumn season teed off with the first event on Wednesday 13th October at Withington Golf Course in Manchester. Six teams from the North West competed for a donation for their chosen charity and a chance to qualify for the National Final next June.
Manchester United legend turned golfer, David May, joined the golfers on the course for a round, with Andy from Panduit being selected to play with him alongside Business Fives Founder, John McClarey. All the players were entertained by David after the meal with stories from his playing days as well as his current golfing life.
On the course, with the help of the flagpole as a measuring stick, it was Paul from Panduit who just beat Kyle from Graham & Sibbald to win the longest putt. For the longest drive, it was guest speaker David May who bagged the prize with his incredible strike on the 16th.
It was a clean sweep for nearest the pins with Nick from Clancy Consulting picking up both prizes. Some great shooting from the team put them on top to win the event and be crowned the new North West champions. Craig and the team have continuously supported Sarcoma UK at our events and won a £650 donation for the charity close to their hearts.
There were only a few points between second and third place. Sinclair Law who were supporting Beechwood Cancer Care came runners up and Graham & Sibbald playing on behalf of Kidscan placed third. Both teams will join Clancy Consulting at the National Final next June alongside the top teams of the remaining qualifiers.
Business Fours Autumn season continues in Newcastle on Tuesday 19th October for our North East Event and we are looking forward to being back in Manchester early next year for our Business Fives five-a-side football event. Full details on our upcoming winter season can be found here.
