Business Fours launch its Charity Golf North West Qualifier
As part of England’s national business golf tournament Business Fours is hosting the charity golf North West qualifying day. At the beautiful MacDonald Portal Championship Course in Cheshire the event will be held on Tuesday 6th October.
Against the backdrop of uncertainty businesses throughout the country are faced with Business Fours has developed a COVID-Secure events safety procedures and guidelines which outline the safety measures to be followed to provide a safe environment for all taking part. These measures which include limiting numbers at events to 12 fourballs to allow for social distancing are designed first and foremost with client safety in mind and to create a comfortable environment for everyone taking part. With 10% of all revenue being donated to the winner’s charity of choice charity is a huge driver for the company organising the events who have raised over £170,000 for charities across the UK and counting. Golfers will have the opportunity to scoop a £10,000 charity donation for hitting a hole in one at the national final event with £2,500 on offer for an ace at any of the qualifying events. Following the charity golf North West event, Business Fours then tees off in the Midlands, the North East and Yorkshire ahead of the national final will take place at Breadsall Priory Country Club Championship Course on 28th October where the destination of the charitable donation will be decided by the winning company.
With entries now open companies like OpenMoney, QTS Group, pladis Global, UPGS and InXpress are already signed up to take part in the tournament and are just a few who hope to be crowned this year’s champions.
Alongside making a charitable impact, this charity golf North West event promotes health and fitness in a relaxed environment and offers an opportunity to meet new people and develop existing connections in a socially distant manner. The team captain from last years runners up, Anderson Strathern, described the day as “a fantastic event which provided an excellent platform to meet new connections in a relaxed and fun environment”.
