Itel Electronics Crowned Business Fours South West Golf Champions
Business Fours got back underway with the return of live events in the South West sunshine on Tuesday.
The event was hosted outdoors and the attendees were treated to panoramic views over the Bristol Channel on a fantastic course.
What Worlebury lacked in yardage off the tee it made up for in character and mental challenge as the golfers plotted their way round the course and those that played sensible golf were rewarded better than those attempting to over power the course.
The on course action lead to an almost clean sweep of the individual awards from the ESET team as Matthew Bower and Michael Clemens picked up the Nearest the pin prizes while team mate Ben Burgher-Fuller provided the longest drive of the day.
Digital Marketing agency, SONDR got in on the prizes as their Director Dan Hewlettholed out the longest putt on the 18th Green on his way to a fine individual round.
It was Itel Electronics who’s consistent team scoring with rounds all over 30 stableford points who did enough to lift the team trophy and become the new South West Golf Champions.
The team won their Royal & Awesome trousers which they will sport proudly at the national final on Thursday 29th July.
The qualifying action continues with the Midlands event on June 9th ahead of further regional qualifiers throughout the month of June and you can keep up to date with the action here.
