BUSINESS FOURS FORMULA

Each player from your company will play with 3 people from 3 other companies in order to enhance the networking opportunities on the day.  If your 4ball is with clients and you would prefer to play with them just let us know.

The competition format will be a 4 ball aggregate Stableford i.e. the combined Stableford score of the 4 members of your team will be your score.

Prizes will also be on offer for the best 4-ball in the same format as well as nearest the pin, longest putt and longest drive competitions.

The highest 3 Stableford scoring teams from each heat will qualify for the national final which will be hosted in May

PLAY FOR YOUR CHOSEN CHARITY

We are maintaining our commitment to donating 10% to charity and this will be donated to the chosen charity of the overall winning team.

All participants and companies getting involved will be encouraged to fund raise for their chosen charities in the build up to the events and we’ll still have our charity fundraising activities on the day.

0815                 Driving Range Warm Up

0830                 Stableford tournament with Longest Drive, Longest Putt & Nearest the Pins.

1300-1400      2 course buffet lunch & Prize Presentation

£495 + VAT per team which includes:

>Goody bag for each player
>Breakfast on arrival and 2-course meal with drinks reception after play

All players should have a valid playing handicap, in the case they don’t a maximum of 18 will be allocated.  For those with an official handicap there is no maximum.

East of Scotland heats

Craigielaw Golf Club is situated 30 minutes from Edinburgh’s city centre on the beautiful East Lothian coastline, just north west of Aberlady village (1/2 a mile from the village) on the south east coast of Scotland.

Travelling south from Edinburgh:
Head south on the A1 city by pass follow signs for Berwick up on Tweed.
Look out for the Bankton Junction south of Musselburgh branching left off the A1. Then at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A198 (signposted North Berwick). At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit on to the A198 heading for North Berwick. After entering Longniddry on the A198 bear left following signs for Aberlady and Gullane on the A198. At the T-Junction turn right (still on the A198). And from this junction the Craigielaw entrance lies less than 2 miles on the left hand side (1/2 a mile before Aberlady village).

Distance and time:
Edinburgh city centre to Craigielaw is 18 miles/29 km and takes 40 minutes depending on traffic.

West of Scotland heats

Dundonald Links sits at the heart of Ayrshire’s golf coast and is well connected by air, road and rail.

ROAD DIRECTIONS

From Glasgow: take the M77 south towards Kilmarnock/Ayr. At the Dutchhouse Roundabout, follow signs for the A78 Irvine. Head north on the A78 towards Irvine for 5 miles and at the next roundabout take the second exit on the left. The entrance to Dundonald Links is half a mile along on the left hand side. Please follow signs for Dundonald Links (not Dundonald Village).

From Prestwick Airport: take the A78 towards Irvine and after 5 miles on this road at the first roundabout take the second exit on the left. The entrance to Dundonald Links is half a mile along on the left hand side.

RAIL LINK

There are regular train services from Glasgow stopping at Prestwick. Local taxis are available to transfer golfers to Dundonald Links with a typical fare approximately £15.
